Horsebox Coffee
Independent coffee from a horsebox outside the Natural History Museum.
A converted horsebox parked on Parks Road, right outside the Natural History Museum and Pitt Rivers. Horsebox Coffee roasts its own beans and serves them from a distinctive setup — a proper horsebox with a proper espresso machine, operated by people who care about the product. It's the ideal pit stop before or after the museums, or to fuel a walk through University Parks just across the road.
Good to know
This is outdoor-only and weather-dependent — check before making a special trip on a grey day. There's no seating provided, but the museum steps and the Parks are right there. Hours can vary seasonally, so it's best treated as a happy discovery rather than a planned destination. The coffee, though, is well worth the detour when the horsebox is open.
