Little Venice Pizzeria

Little Venice is a narrow Italian pizzeria midway down North Parade Avenue, the shopfront giving most of its width to a tall window and a single doorway. The kitchen runs the standard Italian-American pizzeria template — stone-baked pizzas, a short pasta list and the usual sides — and works as much for takeaway and delivery as it does for sit-in.

There are a handful of two-tops inside; the rest of the trade is collection and Uber Eats. Service is quick and the room is bright. Children's options are visible on the menu posters in the window, which makes it a regular family stop on the strip.

What to order

The classic pizzas — Margherita, Pepperoni, Quattro Formaggi, Diavola — are the steady part of the menu, alongside a dozen or so house specials. A pasta list runs to the standards: carbonara, lasagne, arrabbiata. The kids' menu and a simple dessert list (tiramisu, gelato) round the offer out.

Phone the order in on 01865 553300 if you want it ready on arrival; the takeaway counter is often quicker than the dine-in tables on a Friday night. Uber Eats covers the same menu for delivery across central Oxford. Closed only on Christmas Day and a short break in early January.
